ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's basketball team will be back in action Saturday when the Knights host Tulsa at 4 p.m. The Knights, who played their 100th game at the UCF Arena earlier this week, are 13-4 at home this year.
UCF (17-9, 7-5 Conference USA) has been led by the play of Isaiah Sykes in league competition. The junior recorded 23 points, 11 boards and five assists Wednesday against Marshall and is the only player in the nation with two career triple-doubles. Both of Sykes' triple-doubles have been recorded this year. He is averaging 16.2 points in C-USA contests.
Under first-year coach Danny Manning, Tulsa is 14-12 overall and 6-6 in league play. The Golden Hurricane are led by James Woodard, who is averaging 11.8 points and 5.6 boards.
The UCF Arena box office will be open prior to the game for ticket sales. UCF students are admitted free to all home games with a valid school ID.
The contest is the second of four straight at home for the Knights.
The game will air on the UCF IMG Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 The Game in Orlando. Marc Daniels and Taylor Young will call all of the action and pregame coverage starts at 3:30 p.m. Live video and statistics will be available at UCFAthletics.com.
