ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Coming off a strong performance at the UCF Challenge, the UCF women's golf team heads to River Wilderness Country Club in Parrish, Fla. for the Central District Invitational Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament, hosted by Michigan State, is a two-day, 54-hole event. The Knights will face off with Augusta State, Chattanooga, Denver, Georgetown, Iowa State, Kent State, Michigan State, Minnesota, SMU, TCU and Vanderbilt. TCU is the defending champion in the event. Par is 72 at the River Wilderness course, which is slated to play at 6,099 yards.

Following its third-place finish at the UCF Challenge earlier this week, UCF has moved up to No. 45 in the latest Golfstat rankings and is rated No. 48 by Golfweek.

UCF placed ninth at the Central District Invitational last season and the Knights will look to improve on that result this year. Monifa Sealy, who finished tied for 12th place at the UCF Challenge, will be taking part in the Central District Invitational. She will be joined by teammates Robyn Doig, Kaitlyn Price, Paola Robles and Carolin Pinegger.
