ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - In perhaps its best all-around game of the season, the UCF women's basketball team shined in front of a national television audience with a 67-52 win over Marshall on Thursday night.

Led once again by freshman standout Briahanna Jackson, four Knights reached double-digit scoring. Jackson sank four 3-pointers en route to an 18-point outing coupled with a game-high seven steals.

Junior Erika Jones, who tallied 13 points, fell one rebound shy of a double-double, and junior Sara Djassi netted a season-high 13 points. Senior Gevenia Carter rounded out the quartet with 12 points, and senior Kayli Keough was a boost off the bench by matching her career high in rebounds (9) to go along with 7 points.

UCF's defense was just as efficient, limiting Marshall's leading scorer Shay Weaver to just 2 points, and handcuffing the league's most productive 3-point shooting squad to a paltry 11.8 percent performance (2-of-17) from behind the arc. The Knights churned out 23 points off 25 turnovers, the most by a conference opponent since 2010.

The Knights (8-14, 2-6) entered halftime holding a 32-27 edge before they really started to roll in the second half with an 18-5 run spanning eight minutes. Sophomore Meghan Keough drove for a layup to cap the run and give her team its largest lead of the game, 60-43, with 7:25 remaining.

UCF's 15-point margin of victory was the largest differential over a conference opponent in 20 games.

The Knights remain at home Sunday when they host Memphis at 2 p.m. and look for their first sweep of the season. The game is Knights for Education day and family-friendly events will be stationed outside of the arena prior to tipoff.
