ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's basketball team is back in Orlando and will host one of the hottest teams in the country, Southern Miss, Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena. The Golden Eagles have won 10-straight games and are currently receiving top-25 votes.

UCF (15-6, 5-2 Conference USA) has enjoyed great success at home this year and will be playing at the UCF Arena for the first time since Jan. 26.

Keith Clanton is nearing UCF's all-time rebounds record and could break the mark against Southern Miss. The Orlando native has 933 rebounds and needs only 10 to pass Ken Leeks (1988-92) for the top spot. Clanton is also sixth on the C-USA career rebounds list.

The senior had a dominating performance Saturday at Marshall when he finished with a game-high 24 points and nine rebounds. He is averaging 16.6 points and 9.3 boards on the year. Calvin Newell also had a strong performance Saturday, totaling 19 points.

The game is the first of two this week at home for the Knights, who host East Carolina Saturday afternoon.

Southern Miss is 18-4 overall and 7-0 in the conference. The Golden Eagles are limiting opponents to only 58.4 points per game and are led by Dwayne Davis, who is averaging 13.0 points.

On Wednesday, the UCF Arena ticket office will be open prior to the game. UCF students are admitted free to all home games with a valid school ID. Students will have the chance to win an iPad as well as free passes to Busch Gardens during the game.

Prior to heading to the arena, fans can attend the UCF Football Signing Day Show from 5:45-6:45 p.m. inside the recruiting lounge at Bright House Networks Stadium. The event is free and open to the public.

The game will air on the UCF IMG Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 The Game in Orlando. Marc Daniels will have the call and will be joined by former UCF guard Taylor Young. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. Live video and statistics can be found at UCFAthletics.com.
