ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 11 UCF track and field team will pull double duty at Thursday's Gator Invitational in Gainesville and Saturday's Auburn Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
After a solid opening weekend, UCF has 10 marks that currently rank among the NCAA's top 15. Highlighting the group, three Knights stand among the top-five 60-meters performers: Octavious Freeman (No. 2, 7.20); Aurieyall Scott (No. 3; 7.23) and Dominique Booker (No. 5, 7.34).
On Thursday, UCF will make the quick trip north to Gainesville to compete against a field of 15 teams including Sunshine State programs No. 9 Florida, FIU, Miami, Florida State, North Florida, Jacksonville and fellow Conference USA member Southern Miss. Saturday's Auburn Invitational will be held at the CrossPlex Indoor Track and Field Center where this February's C-USA Indoor Championship will take place. UCF will measure up against programs including No. 1 Clemson, No. 17 Georgia, No. 24 Auburn, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and more. Live results will be available via deltatiming.com.
