ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball team continues conference play on the road this weekend when it meets SMU on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. The Knights (6-9, 0-1) are looking for their first win in Dallas in program history.

Senior Gevenia Carter, who has scored in double figures in all but two games this season, returns to her home state of Texas for the second time this year. Carter racked up a team-high 18 points when the Knights played at TCU in November.

The Mustangs (10-4, 1-0) are coming off a win at Tulane in their conference opener and hold an 8-2 record at Moody Coliseum this year. SMU leads Conference USA in 3-point field goal percentage (.349) and is second for turnover margin (5.9).

Kansas transfer Keena Mays became eligible in December and has averaged 25 points over the last six games. She is joined by Alisha Filmore, who averages 12.6 points per game.
