ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 11 UCF track and field team will face its first test of the 2013 indoor season when it travels to the Kentucky Invitational this Friday and Saturday.More than 20 Knights will compete in 13 events over the two-day meet at Nutter Field House.

UCF will square off against Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky State, Louisville, fellow Conference USA members Marshall and Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and fellow Florida programs Miami and Florida A&M.

The Knights return three conference champions and six athletes who earned 10 all-conference honors during the 2012 indoor season. Among those returners, Aurieyall Scott, Octavious Freeman and Sonnisha Williams went on to earn four All-American distinctions at the NCAA Indoor Championships where they helped UCF clinch a top-10 finish.

The Knights kick things off Friday with the long jump at 5 p.m. Action resumes Saturday at 11 a.m. with the 3,000 meters and the triple jump.
