ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Three members of the UCF women's soccer team earned NSCAA All-Central Region honors this week. Junior defender Marissa Diggs and senior forward Nicolette Radovcic were selected to the first team while senior forward Tishia Jewell was named to the third team.

UCF earned the most appointments of any Conference USA program and was the only program in the Central Region to boast two first team honorees.

Diggs, a 2012 NSCAA All-American, earned her second-straight appearance on the first team after helping UCF break the school and conference record for shutouts (15). She was named the C-USA Defensive Player of the Year and the tournament's defensive MVP while leading the Knights to their first C-USA Tournament Championship.

Radovcic earned her first-career first team honor en route to her second-straight regional recognition. A co-captain, Radovcic emerged as the team's leading goal (12) and point (27) scorer. The C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP, she tallied a team-leading five-game winning goals, which ranked 17th nationally and tied for fifth on UCF's single-season leaders list.

Jewell clinched her third-consecutive all-region appointment after closing her career as UCF's all-time assist (36) leader. With her seven goals and team-leading 10 assists, she helped lead an offense that finished the year ranked 18th nationally for scoring. Jewell recently made history as the first Knight to earn the prestigious Senior CLASS Award.

The Knights, who spent every week ranked among the nation's top 25, finished the season ranked 20th after earning its sixth-straight berth to the NCAA Tournament Second Round.
