ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Following a morning practice session, the UCF football team will hit the road and make the short trek to St. Petersburg Tuesday to continue preparations for the Beef `O' Brady's Bowl Friday. The following are some news and notes on the Knights and the Ball State Cardinals.

News
-On Monday, UCF was in shoulder pads and not full pads for its practice inside Nicholson Fieldhouse.
-After dinner, the Knights' coaches, players and staff members picked up their bowl gear for the trip to St. Petersburg.
-The Knights are scheduled to arrive in St. Petersburg at approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday. They will first have a team meeting and then walk over to the Vinoy Docks for the Player VIP Cruise.

Stat of the Day
-Sophomore Rannell Hall has four of the top six longest receptions on the season. Quincy McDuffie (64 yards) and Jeff Godfrey (46 yards) have the others. Hall's catches went for 56, 56, 47 and 43 yards.

What to Look For
-Wednesday will be UCF's first practice inside Tropicana Field.
-Practice is closed to the public, but the Knights will be attending the Beach Bash at the Sirata Beach Resort from 3:30-6 p.m. and fans are welcome to attend.
