ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After a long break for final exams, the UCF men's basketball team will host Bethune-Cookman Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena. The Knights have not played since Dec. 1.

The contest against Bethune-Cookman will serve as the UCF (4-2) debut for Calvin Newell. The junior guard sat out the last year after transferring from Oklahoma. In five games last season with the Sooners, Newell averaged 13.0 points.

UCF's last contest, a victory over Florida Tech, was the collegiate debut for Matt Williams, who missed the Knights' first five games of the year recovering from an illness. The freshman had an incredible performance against the Panthers, scoring a game-high 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting from 3-point range in only 13 minutes.

Season tickets are still available by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com. The Knights have 16 home games remaining this year. A special holiday package, which includes lower bowl tickets to five games in December, including the contest versus Bethune-Cookman, the showdown with Miami on Dec. 18 and the matchup against Stetson on Dec. 20, is currently available for only $50 by clicking here.

The Wildcats (4-6) are led by Adrien Coleman, who had a triple-double with 18 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists in a victory over Webber International on Saturday. The junior is averaging 18.8 points, 8.3 boards and 3.9 assists.

The UCF Arena ticket office will be open prior to the game Wednesday. UCF students are admitted free with a valid school ID.

The contest will air on the UCF IMG Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 The Game in Orlando. Marc Daniels will have the call and will be joined by Taylor Young on the broadcast. Video and live statistics will be available at UCFAthletics.com.
