TEAM NOTES
-UCF and Tulsa were making a league-high fourth appearance in the Conference USA Championship Game.
-With the 33-27 overtime loss, UCF fell to 2-2 overall and 1-2 vs. Tulsa in the league's title game.
-It was the first overtime affair in Conference USA Championship Game history.
-UCF's record this year dropped to 9-4, while Tulsa improved to 10-3.
-The Knights will now go bowling for the fifth time since making their first bowl appearance in the 2005 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl, as they will participate in the 2012 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. It will be UCF's second appearance at Tropicana Field as it fell to Rutgers in the 2009 St. Petersburg Bowl.
-The UCF defense held Tulsa to just 1-of-5 on fourth downs.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
-Captains for UCF were: senior running back Latavius Murray, senior center Jordan Rae and senior free safety Kemal Ishmael.
-Murray completed the day 71 yards on the ground, pushing him over the 1,000-yard rushing barrier this year with 1,035. He became the seventh different player in UCF history to have at least 1,000 rushing yards in a season.
-Murray's rushing TD gave him 36 for his career (third all-time) and 14 this season (tied for second in a single-season). He is now the first player in UCF history to have a rushing TD in eight-straight games. It is also the second-longest streak in the FBS this year.
-Murray fumbles streak ended on his 17th carry of the game. It was at 259 prior to him putting the ball on the ground in the fourth quarter. However, Murray still has yet to lose a fumble in 386 totes.
-Sophomore quarterback Blake Bortles went 14-of-32 for 194 yards and a pair of TDs. He now ranks sixth with 458 career completions at UCF and tied Steven Moffett (2005) for eighth in single-season passing touchdowns with 22.
-Bortles had 60 rushing yards, just two yards shy of his career-high.
-Sophomore linebacker Terrance Plummer intercepted his first-career pass Saturday. It was the first pick by a either a linebacker or a defensive lineman this year. UCF now has 11 interceptions this season.
-Senior fullback Billy Giovanetti had a 21-yard reception in the first quarter, marking his longest-career catch. On the same drive, sophomore tight end Justin Tukes had a career-long 23-yard reception.
-Making his 48th-straight start, Ishmael led all players in the game with 14 tackles. He moved up from fifth to third on the all-time tackles list at UCF with 360 stops for his career.
-Wide receiver Breshad Perriman caught his third TD pass, tying for the fourth-most by a UCF true freshman WR in school history. He also had a career-long 39-yard reception in the third quarter.
-For the third time this season at Tulsa, the Knights blocked a kick as DB A.J. Bouye came off the edge and got his hand on a PAT to keep the game tied at 27-all in the fourth quarter.
