The UCF men's golf team spent time giving back to children of the community Tuesday and Wednesday. The Knights visited the Orlando Day Nursery and participated in various activities with the children including, reading, practicing counting, reciting ABCs and playing games.
Many children who attend the Orlando Day Nursery come from families that live at or below the poverty line. The nursery is the oldest of its kind in Orlando, and cares for children between the ages of 1-12 at its downtown location.
The nursery's mission is to develop the whole child by providing high quality, affordable care and early childhood education services in the Orlando area.
