TEAM NOTES

-The Knights lost their first C-USA game of the year, falling to 8-3 overall and 6-1 in the league. Tulsa won the West Division and improved its record to 9-2 on the year, 7-0 in C-USA play.

-UCF can still win the East Division if the Knights defeat UAB Nov. 24, or if ECU loses to Marshall Nov. 23.

-If UCF can ultimately win the division, it will be on the road for the C-USA Championship Game for the first time in school history, as each time the Knights participated in the contest, they served as the host team (2005 lost to Tulsa, 2007 defeated Tulsa, 2010 defeated SMU).

-UCF's six-game winning streak came to an end Saturday, falling one victory shy of tying the longest streak in school history.

-UCF led 14-10 at halftime, marking the 10th time in 11 games this year it has led after 30 minutes.

-UCF allowed 252 passing yards Saturday. It has not surrendered 300 passing yards or more in a game this year.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

-Captains for UCF were: senior running back Latavius Murray, senior center Jordan Rae and senior free safety Kemal Ishmael.

-Murray's streak of 100-yard rushing games was snapped at four. He had 60 yards on 22 carries and a score. It was his career-high 12th rushing touchdown of the year, which is tied for the fifth-most in UCF single-season history. It also was his 34th of his career, as he sits all alone in third on the all-time chart.

-Murray broke into the top 10 in rushing attempts with his 22 totes on the day, surpassing Ronnie Weaver (384) who was at No. 10.

-The RS senior running back also jumped up to No. 6 on the all-time rushing list at UCF with 2,188 career yards.

-Murray's streak of not losing a fumble also continued as he now has 350-consecutive carries without giving the ball to the defense.

-Quincy McDuffie registered two kickoff returns for 34 yards and is now just one return shy of Ted Wilson who notched 89 returns in his career from 1983-86.

-Sophomore quarterback Blake Bortles finished the afternoon 13-of-31 for 169 yards and a passing touchdown.

-True freshman Breshad Perriman caught his second-career touchdown pass in the second quarter which trimmed UCF's deficit to 10-7. He finished with two grabs for 33 yards.

-Senior linebacker Jonathan Davis forced his first fumble of his career Saturday in the second quarter. On the play, senior defensive end Troy Davis recovered his third fumble of the year.

-Jonathan Davis entered with a career-high of 10 tackles, and had eight at halftime. He finished Saturday with by blowing past his previous high with 17 total takedowns to lead all players on the field.

-After notching a career-high 14 stops a week ago at UTEP, RS senior LB Ray Shipman one-upped his performance with 15 on the day.

-Senior cornerback A.J. Bouye intercepted his third pass of the year and the sixth of his career. He ultimately returned it 76 yards for a touchdown, marking the fifth-longest INT return in UCF history.

-The last INT return for a touchdown by a Knight was by Josh Robinson vs. Charleston Southern Sept. 3, 2011.

-Jose Jose blocked an extra point in the third quarter - the first XP blocked by a Knight since E.J. Dunston at UAB Oct. 20, 2011.

-Jose wasn't the only Knight to get their hand on a kick as senior Cam Henderson swatted a late 29-yard FG attempt by Tulsa.
