UCF Men's Tennis to Conclude Fall Season at USTA Clay Court Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team will conclude the 2012 fall season with the inaugural USTA Clay Court Invitational, hosted by Florida State.

The event will take place Friday-Sunday at Disney's ESPN World Wide of Sports Tennis Complex in Lake Buena Vista.

The Knights will send Jorge Blasco, Matthew Gladstone and Francesc Aulina to compete against some of the top schools in the nation.

Among the schools competing will be last year's national champion USC, No. 7 Kentucky, No. 8 Duke, No. 12 Florida, No. 13 Cal, No. 17 Tulsa, No. 43 Colombia, No. 62 Georgia Tech and Penn State.

"This is a wonderful chance for our guys to showcase their talents against some of the nation's best," UCF head coach Bobby Cashman said. "This tournament should help prepare our team for the tough competition we will face on a weekly basis during the spring season."

This will be the last time the Knights will be action until the spring opener against Florida on Jan. 23.
