ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Fans can get an early look at the 2012-13 UCF men's basketball team on Nov. 5 inside the UCF Arena when the Knights participate in an intrasquad scrimmage and autograph session and a host select-a-seat event. The free event will begin at 7 p.m.
Led by Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year Keith Clanton, the Knights will face the toughest home schedule in program history this season as Miami, USF and Memphis will all visit the UCF Arena. Season tickets are currently available by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com.
In addition to Clanton, the Knights also feature talented juniors Isaiah Sykes and Tristan Spurlock, dynamic transfer Calvin Newell and a large freshman class. UCF opens the season on Nov. 10 at USF and will then make its home debut on Nov. 13 versus Alabama State.
During the fan event on Nov. 5, doors to the UCF Arena will open at 6 p.m. Representatives from the UCF Athletics ticket office will be on hand in the lobby to assist with season-ticket purchases. Parking will be available for free in Garage F behind the arena and across from the arena in Garage D.
The Knights will also hold an open practice on Nov. 2 at 9 p.m. (following the women's basketball exhibition game versus Lynn).
