ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's golf team wrapped up its first day at the Tar Heel Friday. The Knights sit in 15th place after the first day in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Robyn Doig led the way for UCF on Friday, posting a 3-over score of 75, which leaves her in a tie for 30th after one round. Carolin Pinegger and Kaitlyn Price are tied for 53rd after shooting rounds of 77 (+5). Paola Robles rounded out the scoring for the Knights. She carded a 6-over 78 to put her in a tie for 64th place.
Monifa Sealy is also competing for UCF. She recorded a score of 80 (+8) on Friday. The Knights' Mary Mulcahy is taking part in her first collegiate event as an individual. Mulcahy shot an 84 (+12).
Saturday's second round is slated to begin just before 9 a.m. at the UNC Finley Golf Course.
