ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team concluded play Sunday in Fort Myers at the FGCU Fall Invitational with three victories. The wins on the back draw capped a successful event for the Knights.
In singles action, Juan Bolona eased to a 6-1, 6-4 triumph over Taylor Albrecht of Florida Atlantic. Matthew Gladstone held on for a 7-6, 6-7, (10-7) win over Florida Atlantic's Chriss Janssen.
Facing Barry's Romain Costamagna and Kevin Sielmann, Jorge Blasco and Mario Samson rolled to an 8-5 win.
The Knights will continue the fall portion of their schedule on Oct. 19 at the ITA Regionals in Tallahassee.
