ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF cross country team is rested and ready to run at the FLRunners.com Invitational in Titusville at 6 p.m. Friday. The Knights, who are off to a strong start this year with two top-three finishes, enjoyed a week off from competition to prepare for the 11-team meet.

UCF will measure up against some familiar foes as FIU, Stetson and Jacksonville will be among those in attendance.

The Knights plan to travel their entire squad except for sophomore Cody Castillo and will expect strong performances from their freshmen class, which is led by Anne-Marie Blaney. Blaney has emerged as UCF's top finisher in both of its meets this season, which includes a first-place finish in the season opener at USF earlier this month.

This weekend's meet will serve as a homecoming for sophomore Teresa Huff, who was a four-time state qualifier and a three-time all-conference team member at Titusville High School. Prior to joining the Knights, Huff set the cross country school record at Titusville and was a regional champion as a junior.
