ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The majority of the UCF men's tennis team will be in action starting Friday when play begins at the FGCU Fall Invitational in Fort Myers. The three-day event includes players from UCF, Miami, Florida Atlantic and host Florida Gulf Coast.
The tournament is the second of four this fall for the Knights.
UCF opened the fall on Sept. 14 as Jorge Blasco and Mario Samson competed at the Bedford Cup in Gainesville. Blasco picked up a pair of victories at the event, highlighted by a triumph over Florida State's Andres Bucaro, the eighth-seeded singles player.
In Fort Myers, Blasco and Samson will be joined by Juan Bolona, Matthew Gladstone, Francesc Aulina and Pedro Wagner.
