ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF volleyball team will wrap up its season-high six-match road trip as it travels west to compete in the Time Warner Cable Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas. The tournament, featuring No. 6 Texas, No. 23 Illinois and future BIG EAST foe Cincinnati, begins Friday for the Knights (3-6) at 2:30 p.m., against the Bearcats (1-8).

UCF will return to the court Saturday morning at 9 a.m. against the Illini (3-4) and conclude the tournament with a nationally televised match against the Longhorns (6-2) at 5 p.m. The match will be played on the Longhorn Network which can be found on channel 609 SD/1609 HD on AT&T U-verse.

It will be a true homecoming for three members of the Knights as senior Meredith Murphy and freshmen Dana Faught and Kaci Thompson will all be returning to their hometown. Redshirt freshman Kayla Keller is from nearby San Antonio.

Murphy, who is just 33 digs away from the all-time program record of 1,644 set by Miriam Metzcus, could set the mark this weekend in front of her family, friends and a large group of UCF fans.

The Black and Gold will look to bounce back from a challenging weekend at Sacred Heart. Senior Evija Vilde shined in Connecticut as she was named to the SHU Hampton Inn Shelton Invitational All-Tournament Team after picking up 36 kills and four service aces. Vilde had 24 kills and a remarkable zero errors on 51 attempts in two of the four matches for a spectacular .470 attack percentage.
