ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Black it is. The poll question was asked by UCF Athletics on Facebook and Twitter for which color should Knight fans wear on gameday in support of UCF football versus Ohio State this Saturday and the majority of voters in UCF's first social-media poll chose black.
With 2,500-plus Knight fans expected to be in Columbus, and thousands more cheering on the team while watching on ESPN 2, what better way than to be clad in black to signify our unity as a fan base.
For those making the trip to "The Horseshoe," make sure to stop at Gate 8 and pick up your complimentary black pompom prior to kickoff.
SGA Gameday Watch Party
SGA will be hosting a gameday watch party beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the new multi-purpose courts at the Recreation and Wellness Center. In addition to watching the game, free food and drinks will be available from Wackadoos Grub and Brew and Smoothie King. Tons of giveaways and prizes will also be available. Young Alumni Weekend Kickoff
UCF Athletics would like to welcome all fans who have "FINISHED" their degree in the last five years to the UCF Young Alumni Ohio State Weekend Kickoff at Terrace 390 from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Terrace 390 will be providing great food and drink specials. UCF Young Alumni will have the opportunity to meet and network with other young UCF professionals, make plans for the Ohio State game and get excited about next week's home opener.
UCF Assistant Head Coach Brent Key will make a special appearance and other UCF Athletics representatives are expected to be on hand, as well. Knights Sales and Service members will be on hand to assist with any last-minute season-ticket needs. The Young Alumni season-ticket package includes season tickets, the Young Alumni Gameday shirt, a UCF Chair Back and a season parking pass for just $140.
