ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After advancing to the second round of the NCAA Championship last season, the UCF men's soccer team is receiving votes in the first 2012 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire poll.

Hopes are high for the Knights entering this season as the squad returns several talented letterwinners from a year ago and also welcomes a highly-touted recruiting class. Head coach Bryan Cunningham's team went 12-6-3 in 2011 and was ranked in the top 25 all year. UCF was ranked as high as No. 6 nationally after opening the campaign 6-0-1.

The Knights reported for preseason camp today and will hold their first practice Wednesday morning. The squad has three exhibition contests before opening the regular season on Aug. 24 at Florida Atlantic.

Season tickets, which cost only $30, are available now by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com. This year's ticket package, which includes one ticket to each home contest, comes with a complimentary UCF soccer scarf, which serves as the ticket for admission at the UCF Soccer Complex.
