ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's and women's tennis squads have been recognized for their work in the classroom as both programs have earned All-Academic Team honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The ITA All-Academic Team award is given to programs that have a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above.

UCF and Florida Gulf Coast were the lone programs in Florida that had both of its men's and women's teams recognized by the ITA.

Four members of each UCF team garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete status, which is awarded to student-athletes with at least a 3.50 GPA. Courtney Griffith, Genevieve Lorbergs, Jenna Doerfler and Taylor Dubins were recognized from the women's team. Juan Bolona, Erik Brunskog, Jorge Blasco and Mitch Thams received honors from the men's squad.
