ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - A pair of former Knights squared off in the MLS Saturday, and goalkeeper Sean Johnson led his Chicago Fire to a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Crew and Kevan George. Johnson had a career-high eight saves in the victory.
He earned Man of the Match honors for his play in goal. George logged all 90 minutes in the midfield for the visiting Crew.
Fellow rookie Warren Creavalle also saw action Saturday. Creavalle played nine minutes for the Houston Dynamo in a 4-2 loss to the host Montreal Impact.
