UCF football fans can start making their game-day tailgating, attendance and television-viewing plans for many of the contests on the 2012 schedule. Conference USA has announced a number of kickoff times and television partners for the Knights' upcoming season.
Of the games announced Thursday, UCF will make seven appearances on national television. Four of the Knights' contests will air on CBS Sports Network and three are slated to be broadcast by Fox Sports Net. Kickoff times for four UCF games were also released as part of Thursday's announcement.
The Knights' home-opener vs. FIU on Sept. 15 will air on CSS. A start time for the home opener is still to be announced. Missouri's visit to Bright House Networks Stadium on Sept. 29 will air to a national audience on Fox Sports Net. Kickoff time for the game vs. the Tigers will be announced 12 days prior.
UCF's first two Conference USA games -- East Carolina visiting Orlando on Oct. 4 and Southern Miss coming to Bright House Networks Stadium on Oct. 13 -- will kick off at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The Knights' Oct. 20 visit to Memphis will be seen on CSS and a kickoff time is to be announced. UCF wraps up the month of October with a road trip to Marshall on Oct. 27 for an 8 p.m. ET contest, which will air on CBS Sports Network.
The Knights are back home to begin the month of November, hosting SMU for Homecoming on Nov. 3. Kickoff for the contest vs. the Mustangs will be 7 p.m. ET with CBS Sports Network carrying the broadcast. No information has been released regarding the Nov. 10 game at UTEP. UCF's game at Tulsa on Nov. 17 will air on Fox Sports Net, as will the Nov. 24 regular-season finale with UAB visiting Orlando. Kickoff times for both of those games will be announced 12 days prior.
