ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Chad Berryhill, who spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at UCF, has been named the men's and women's tennis head coach at Ferris State. A native of Michigan, Berryhill is a Ferris State alum.

Berryhill worked under head coach Bobby Cashman during his time in Orlando and assisted with recruiting, practice organization and individual instruction. He was also responsible for managing the program's video analysis.

"We are very excited and pleased that Chad has the opportunity to return to Ferris State and be a head coach," Cashman said. "We wish Chad nothing but the best and know that he will have great success in his new position."

Berryhill arrived at UCF after an impressive five-year tenure (2005-10) developing one of the top programs in the country as the women's tennis head coach at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa. He led the Lady Hawks to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship in 2008 along with national runner-up finishes in 2006, 2007 and 2009.
