ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Former Knight Warren Creavalle made his MLS debut Sunday, playing all 90 minutes for the Houston Dynamo against host Vancouver. Creavalle, who concluded his UCF career last fall, started at right back.
Creavalle is one of two UCF rookies in the MLS this year. Kevan George is playing with the Columbus Crew.
In January, Creavalle was taken with the 37th overall pick by Houston in the MLS SuperDraft.
Creavalle enjoyed great success during his time with the Knights. As a junior and senior, he led UCF to back-to-back second round appearances in the NCAA Championship. He garnered All-Conference USA First Team honors this past fall. As a junior in 2010, Creavalle earned All-America Third Team recognition.
