ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Four days removed from the Coral Gables Regional Final against Stony Brook, UCF head baseball coach Terry Rooney welcomed the media into the Tradition Room at the UCF baseball complex to discuss what he called one of the greatest season's in school history.
In 2012, the Knights totaled 45 wins for the first time since 2004, were ranked in the national polls all season, notched a program-record 16 wins in Conference USA, recorded the nation's best winning percentage on the road during the regular season (16-3) and had six players selected in the MLB First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday and Wednesday.
See what Rooney had to say about his outstanding squad, some of the best moments from 2012 and what the future holds for the Knights in 2013.
