Knights to Get Early Start at NCAA Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - When play begins Tuesday at the NCAA Championship at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., the UCF men's golf team will get an early start. The Knights will tee off starting at 7:20 a.m. local time, and will be paired with Georgia and Iowa.

UCF advanced to the championship by placing fifth at the NCAA Regional at Stanford this past weekend. The Knights will be participating in the championship for the fifth time in program history.

Thirty teams and six individuals will compete in the 54-hole stroke play portion of the tournament Tuesday-Thursday. The top eight teams will advance to match play starting on Friday, June 1 with a national champion being crowned on Sunday, June 3.
