ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - TennisRecruiting.net has ranked UCF's incoming recruiting class as the 17th-best group in the nation. The website announced its top-25 recruiting classes Monday and the Knights earned a spot among some of the premier programs in the country.
Head coach Bobby Cashman and assistant coach Chad Berryhill will have the services of recruits Amar Hromic, William Kwok and Pedro Wagner starting this fall.
Hromic has represented Sweden in European championships and has advanced to the finals at three International Tennis Federation events and claimed four ITF doubles titles. Kwok, who resides in Bradenton, Fla., enjoyed great success on the junior circuit in 2011. He participated in the USTA National Championship and advanced to the round of 16 in the 18s singles competition. A native of Brazil, Wagner was ranked as high as No. 6 among all amateurs in his country.
The trio will join a program that made positive strides throughout the 2012 dual-match campaign and returns All-Conference USA Second Team selection Jorge Blasco.
