STATE COLLEGE, Penn. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's golf team concluded its successful season Saturday as play concluded at the NCAA East Regional on the Blue Course at Penn State. The Knights, who are ranked 38th nationally, finished the three-round regional at 907 (+43), and tied for 14th at the 24-team event.
UCF entered the day tied for 16th, and ended up concluding the tournament tied with Wake Forest. The Knights were aided by a huge round from Carolin Pinegger on Saturday. The junior started the final round tied for 40th, but carded a 4-under 71 to tie for 19th (221, +5).
