ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Despite dropping its first Conference USA series in a year, the UCF baseball team remained ranked in the top 15 nationally when the latest polls came out Monday afternoon.

The Knights (35-10, 13-5) topped out at No. 13 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll.

Monday also saw UCF slip just one spot in the latest Baseball America rankings to No. 15. The Knights have appeared in each Baseball America poll since its No. 21 preseason ranking and joins Rice (No. 6) as the only two teams in Conference USA to appear in the standings.

At No. 7 a week ago, UCF fell to No. 15 in the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches' Poll and was also slotted in the same spot in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper rankings as well.

For the season, the Knights have won 10-of-11 weekend series and continue to rank among the nation's elite in many statistics across the board.

On Wednesday, UCF will travel to Stetson to renew its oldest rivalry since the program began in 1973. The Hatters and Knights will get underway at 6:30 p.m. with all the action airing live on 740-AM The Game beginning at 6:15.
