ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Due to the threat of inclement weather on Saturday, UCF softball's doubleheader against Memphis originally scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. has been moved to Friday at 3 p.m. at the UCF Softball Complex. The third and final game of the series will be played on Saturday or Sunday, weather permitting. Game time for the third game is to be determined.

The Knights (32-12, 10-5 Conference USA) and Tigers (18-31, 6-12) will be meeting for the 19th time on Friday. The all-time series is tied 9-9, but the Tigers have won the last three contests.

The Black and Gold are coming off a 5-1 victory over Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday. This weekend series is crucial as the Knights, just one game back of second and two games back of first, will look to improve upon their conference standing with just three conference series remaining.

UCF head coach Renee Luers-Gillispie will likely stick with her normal weekend rotation. Two-time reigning Conference USA Pitcher of the Week Mackenzie Audas (17-6, 1.06 ERA) will start on Friday and in the finale. Senior Ali Schmidt (10-3, 1.46 ERA) will also start during Friday's doubleheader.

The Knights enter this weekend atop many statistical categories in C-USA, including triples (16), ERA (1.45), strikeouts (293), opposing batting average (.204) and fewest home runs allowed (16).

UCF has seven home games remaining and tickets are available online at UCFAthletics.com and Ticketmaster.com, or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000.
