ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Memphis is set to host the 2012 Conference USA Women's Tennis Championship Thursday-Sunday at the Dunavant-Wellford Tennis Center, and UCF learned its seed and first opponent for this weekend. The Knights received the No. 7 seed and will take on No. 10 SMU in first-round play Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.

Over on the doubles courts, Courtney Griffith and Genevieve Lorbergs are 6-1 at the No. 1 position while Dubins and Andrea Yacaman are 9-7 at No. 3.
All-time, UCF holds a 6-6 record in the C-USA Championship and has won a first-round match every year since joining the league in 2005-06.
SMU stands at 1-16 and is led by No. 56 Edyta Cieplucha, who has an 11-5 singles record at the No. 1 spot. The Mustangs faced 10 opponents this year which were ranked, and their lone victory came against No. 40 Princeton.
