ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Coming off a two week break, the UCF rowing team travels to Providence, R.I., to compete in the two-day Rhode Island Invitational.
Racing starts at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday with UCF going head-to-head with host Rhode Island, Boston University and Conference-USA-foe Alabama in the third varsity eight, second varsity four, varsity four, JV eight and varsity eight events.
The following morning at 7 a.m., the Knights will be competing against Rhode Island and Boston University in the varsity eight, JV eight, varsity four, second varsity four and third varsity eight.
The forecasted weather predicts 12mph on Saturday and 22mph on Sunday.
The Knights are looking to build momentum with the conference championships approaching following a sweep of Stetson and Jacksonville in their last regatta.
