ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Winning four out of its last five and looking to close out the home schedule strong, the UCF women's tennis team concludes its 2012 regular season with a home match against Florida Atlantic University Saturday at the UCF Tennis Complex. The match begins at 10 a.m. with no cost of admission.

Three seniors will be participating in their final home matches of their UCF careers Saturday: Taylor Dubins (North Miami Beach, Fla.), Alexis Rodriguez (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Andrea Yacaman (Cartagena, Colombia).

The Knights are coming off an impressive 5-2 victory over SMU in Dallas, improving their record to 8-10 overall along with a 2-1 mark in conference play. Against SMU, UCF won four of the possible six singles matches against the Mustangs, including three two-set victories by Dubins, Josephine Haraldson and Courtney Griffith. The Black and Gold swept the doubles point, with the pairing of Griffith and Genevieve Lorbergs, ranked No. 80 in the nation, defeating SMU's Edyta Cieplucha and Heather Steinbauer at the No.1 spot, 8-6.

UCF's final opponent of the regular season is the FAU Owls. FAU stands at 9-7 on the season, dropping its most recent match, 4-3, to Binghamton University on April 7. FAU is led by junior Marlene Ryan, who holds a 10-1 record overall in 2012. She is 6-0 at the No. 2 position while 2-0 at the No. 3 spot.

After the FAU match, the seeding will be determined for the Conference USA Championship, which is slated to get underway April 19 in Memphis, Tenn. Last season, the Knights earned a No. 5 seed for the championship, tying the highest seed achieved by UCF since joining C-USA in 2005-06.
