ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 13 UCF baseball team continues its five-game home stand Tuesday and Wednesday night when it welcomes Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman to the UCF baseball complex. Both games are slated to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Aside from seeing the nationally ranked Knights (26-7, 7-2), fans will also enjoy "Dollar Dog Knight" with hot dogs just a buck for all in attendance each game.
On Tuesday, UCF will reignite its series with the Rattlers after the teams last met in 2008. The Knights own a 14-2-1 all-time record over the team from Tallahassee. Dating back to 2003, UCF has won four-straight in the series. Senior Matt Collins (2-2) will take the mound for his second midweek start of the season.
UCF will finish its two-game season series with B-CU Wednesday. The Knights earned an 8-4 triumph in Daytona and have won their last eight against the Wildcats.
Last week, UCF topped No. 7 Miami, 4-1, in Coral Gables and kept its weekend-series unbeaten streak alive as it recorded a pair of wins over UAB in exciting fashion with a walk-off win on Sunday. The Knights continue to hold the lead in Conference USA by a game over East Carolina and Rice.
