ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After earning a road win at No. 7 Miami on Wednesday and claiming its eighth-weekend series of the year against UAB, UCF baseball stood firm in the top 15 of the national rankings Monday.

The Knights (27-7, 7-2 C-USA) remained in the top 15 of the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 coaches' poll and the Baseball America rankings at No. 15. UCF has appeared in each Baseball America poll since its No. 21 preseason ranking, and joins Rice (No. 9) as the only two teams in Conference USA to appear in both polls.

Monday also saw the Knights climb to No. 13 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Poll, and ascend two spots to No. 15 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper standings.

The highest ranking in program history for UCF came in 2001 at No. 7 in the Baseball America polls.

UCF will embark on a busy week with five games in six days beginning Tuesday and Wednesday with Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman at the UCF baseball complex. Action begins at 6:30 p.m. on "Dollar Dog Knight" for both contests. The Knights will then take to the road for a C-USA showdown at Southern Miss beginning Friday at 7 p.m.
