ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Following back-to-back Saturdays of racing, the UCF rowing team will defend their home waters for the last time this season in a duel regatta against in-state opponents, Stetson and Jacksonville.
The duel will take place at UCF's boathouse, which is located at 18011 Lake Pickett Rd. Admission is free for all fans.
Racing starts at 9 a.m. with two events being raced. UCF's 1V and 2V boats will be taking on Jacksonville in the varsity-eight race.
The varsity four contest will follow with two UCF rigs competing against Stetson and Jacksonville.
The Hatters are coming off an impressive showing in Tampa, where they medaled in five of the seven events they participated, while Dolphins will look to rebound from the Oak Ridge Invitational, where they failed to place first any of their races.
This is the last chance for the Knights to defend their home waters this year, as they will be on the road for the last three regattas.
