Orlando, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com)--The UCF women's tennis team continues its nine-match home stand Wednesday as West Virginia visits Orlando to face the Knights. Play begins at 2 p.m. at the UCF Tennis Complex.

The Black and Gold's last match against FAU was cancelled due to rain - the first canceled match of the season. Even though the contest was called off, the Knights have enjoyed remaining in Central Florida for an extended period of time. The consecutive amount of matches for UCF began on Feb. 22 against South Florida, running all the way through March and ending on April 4 against Stetson.

The Knights hold a record of 5-9, winning two out of their last four matches. Taylor Dubins leads the team with an overall record of 13-9, including 8-5 in dual-match play. The duo of Dubins and Andrea Yacaman lead the team in doubles, holding a record of 11-9 so far in 2012.

West Virginia hit a rough spot in its schedule as of late, with a mark of 1-4 in its last five matches. On the season, the Mountaineers have a record of 4-11, with senior Veronica Cardenas paces the team with nine singles wins.

UCF finishes its time at home against Stetson on Wednesday, April 4, at 4 p.m. at the UCF Tennis Complex. The facility is located next to the UCF Recreation and Wellness Center on campus. Admission to all home matches are free.
