GAINESVILLE, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 36 UCF women's golf team, paced by Junior Carolin Pinegger's 9-over, wrapped up play at the SunTrust Gator Women's Golf Invite Sunday. The Knights shot 66-over on the par-70 Mark Bostick Golf Course at Florida for the weekend to finish 12th.

Host Florida earned the team championship after holding off No. 2 Alabama by a stroke. No. 34 Florida State, No. 10 Georgia and No. 11 Duke rounded out the top five.

The Knights will now have an extended period of time off before they return to action April 9 in the Knights and Pirates Invitational from Melbourne.
