UCF Rowers Travel to Texas to Compete in Longhorn Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Following a sweep over in-state Nova Southeastern in exhibition action at Lake Pickett last week, the UCF rowing teams travels to Austin, Texas, to compete in the three-day Longhorn Invitational.

The regatta will take place on Lady Bird Lake and the Knights will enter varsity eights, junior varsity eights, first varsity fours, second varsity fours and novice eight races for each of the three days.

Racing starts Friday against SMU with the second varsity four and novice eight boats competing against Texas.

Saturday morning the Knights take on Texas, and then come back that afternoon to face Oklahoma.

To conclude the three-day event, the Black and Gold squad will duel against Kansas on Sunday with the second varsity four-boat battling against San Diego.
