2012 C-USA Championship Bracket

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's basketball team has earned the No. 4 seed at the Conference USA Championship and will open the event in Memphis, Tenn., on Thursday with a quarterfinal matchup against No. 5 UAB or No. 12 Tulane. UCF's contest at the FedEx Forum will begin at 10 p.m. Eastern and will be televised live nationally on CBS Sports Network.

The Knights (21-9, 10-6 C-USA) finished the regular season tied for third in the conference standings. Head coach Donnie Jones' team was one of four league squads to earn a first-round bye at the championship. UCF's 21 regular-season are the third-most for the program since the university moved to the Division I level in 1984.

If UCF wins its quarterfinal game, the Knights will play in the semifinals Friday at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. The title game is Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Eastern. The winner of the championship will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

UCF is on the same side of the bracket as top-seed Memphis. No. 2 Southern Miss and No. 3 Tulsa round out the top-four seeds.

All of UCF's contests in Memphis will air in Orlando on the UCF IMG Sports Network, and its flagship station, 740 The Game.
