ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On the heels of a weekend sweep of LIU Brooklyn, the UCF baseball team moved up in three national polls on Monday. The Knights' highest ranking came in at No. 19 in the Baseball America College Top 25.

UCF also cracked the top-25 in both the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and Perfect Game USA rankings. The Knights came into the 2012 season at No. 28 and No. 27 in both polls, respectively, and have now climbed to No. 24 in each.

This week, UCF will have excellent opportunities to continue its rise in the national spotlight as it travels to No. 1 Florida for a Wednesday night showdown with the Gators on Fox Sports Florida at 7 p.m. The Knights will then return home for a weekend series with Boston College which is fresh off of a 3-0 showing at the Caravelle Resort Tournament in Conway, S.C.
