ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Following a strong showing at its first tournament of the spring earlier this week, the UCF men's golf team has moved to 16th nationally in the Golfstat NCAA Head-to-Head Rankings. The Knights placed fourth at the SunTrust Gator Invitational in Gainesville, an event that featured nine of the top-40 ranked squads in the country.
The tournament was the first of five regular-season events scheduled for the Knights this spring.
UCF entered the Gator Invitational ranked 21st nationally. The Knights enjoyed a strong fall campaign, taking the titles at a pair of events.
UCF will return to action on Sunday when play begins at the John Hayt Invitational in Ponte Vedra Beach.
