ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The 2012 baseball season will once again provide fans the opportunity to follow the No. 21 Knights from near or far. UCF has released its multimedia schedule for the season with at least four television games, including the first nationally televised contest at the UCF baseball complex when UCF hosts ECU on Sunday, March 25, at 1 p.m. on Fox Sports Net.
Meanwhile, Marc Daniels and the UCF Sports Network from IMG College will return to the press box to call games on 740-AM as well as any postseason contests. Daniels is currently in his 17th year at UCF and his 15th working with the baseball program. Each radio broadcast opens up with a 15-minute pregame show.
Once again, all UCF home games will feature live video with audio at UCFAthletics.com. To follow the Knights during the year, scroll over the Multimedia tab and click on All-Access to sign up today.
Updates to the broadcast schedule, such as the addition of live audio for in-state road games, may occur throughout the season, and will be reflected immediately online.
Opening Knight is quickly approaching, as UCF will open its newly renovated ballpark against LIU Brooklyn this Friday at 6:30 p.m. in game one of a three-game weekend series. The game is FREE for everyone who makes it out to the UCF baseball complex. Season and single-game tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling (407) 823-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com's Tickets section.
