ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team concluded play at its home tournament, the UCF Spring Invitational, Sunday at the UCF Tennis Complex. The event, which also included Alabama, Indiana, Louisville and Radford, began Friday.
The Knights faced players from Indiana Sunday and recorded a pair of doubles win.
Joe Delinks and Mitch Thams were victorious in the A Doubles bracket. The pair topped Josh MacTaggart and Alastair Barnes, 8-6.
In B Doubles, Mario Samson and Matthew Gladstone teamed up for a win. The Knights handled Dimitrije Tasic and Jose Carlos Montibeller, winning 8-1.
The event was the lone spring tune-up for the Knights, who open the dual-match season on Jan. 22 at home vs. Wake Forest.
