ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team will get ready for its spring dual-match season this weekend when the Knights host the UCF Spring Invitational. The event will be held Friday-Sunday at the UCF Tennis Complex and Hagerty High School in Oviedo.

In addition to the Knights, players from Alabama, Indiana, Louisville and Radford will be in action at the event.

On Friday, UCF players will open the tournament with singles and doubles play at the UCF Tennis Complex at 8 a.m. The following day, the Knights will play singles and doubles matches at 8 a.m. and singles contests at 4 p.m. on campus. On Sunday, the Knights will play both singles and doubles at 9:30 a.m. at the UCF Tennis Complex.

UCF will open the spring dual-match campaign on Jan. 22 against Wake Forest at home.

The Knights competed in five events during the fall tournament season. Head coach Bobby Cashman's squad was led by Juan Bolona and Mitch Thams, who both picked up six singles victories. The pair also teamed up to claim five doubles contests.
