ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF fans can relive UCF's thrilling win over Memphis, as well as the Knights' triumph at UAB, during Inside UCF Basketball with Donnie Jones, which will air Monday and Tuesday. The program will be broadcast Monday at 10:30 p.m. on Bright House Sports Network and Tuesday statewide on Sun Sports at 4 p.m.
On Wednesday, in front of a raucous crowd at the UCF Arena, the Knights posted a 68-67 win over Memphis to defeat the Tigers for the first time in 11 meetings. Keith Clanton recorded the game-winning 3-point play with four seconds to play. After topping the Tigers, UCF headed to Birmingham and held on for a 48-41 victory at UAB. The Knights entered the contest 0-7 all-time against the Blazers.
In addition to highlights from both games, this week's show includes a feature story on Tristan Spurlock, who is in his first year competing for the Knights after sitting out last season as a transfer from Virginia.
The show also includes a feature on UCF assistant coach Tim Thomas and a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road for the Knights.
The 30-minute show will re-air Tuesday at 6 p.m. and Wednesday at 10 a.m. on Bright House Sports Network and Friday at 6:30 p.m. on Sun Sports. Each Tuesday morning, the program will be available on UCFAthletics.com All-Access.
