ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After helping the UCF men's soccer team enjoy its finest season in program history this past year, midfielders Warren Creavalle and Kevan George have both been invited to the 2012 adidas MLS Combine, which begins Jan. 6 in Fort Lauderdale. The seniors are candidates for the MLS SuperDraft, which will be held on Jan. 12.

Fifty-two players were invited to the combine, and UCF was one of 14 programs to have more than one player on the list.

Creavalle and George were both selected to the All-Conference USA First Team this past season when they helped the Knights advance to the second round of the NCAA Championship for the second-consecutive year. UCF was ranked in the top-25 nationally for nearly the entire campaign, and moved to as high as No. 6.

In 2011, Creavalle appeared in 17 contests, making 16 starts. He recorded one goal and three assists during the year. Prior to the campaign, the Georgia native was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List. After his junior season, when he tallied four goals and 12 assists, Creavalle garnered NSCAA All-America Third Team honors.

George had a pair of goals and seven assists this past year, when he started all 21 contests for the Knights. During his four-year career, he started all 73 matches and recorded six goals and 16 assists, which ranks 10th in program history. A native of Trinidad, George was a three-time All-C-USA First Team selection.

While at the combine, Creavalle and George will play three games over a five-day period.

"The invitation to the MLS Combine is very deserved for Kevan and Warren," UCF head coach Bryan Cunningham said. "It is great that they are being recognized for their outstanding achievements at UCF. We are very hopeful that they will perform well at the combine and will have bright futures in professional soccer."

Creavalle and George are not the first Knights to earn invitations to the combine. Sean Johnson participated in the 2010 combine, and the goalkeeper was selected by Chicago in the fourth round of the MLS SuperDraft that year.
